Precision rotary positioning is often a key adjunct to the more common linear translation in many applications.  Dover offers a number of solutions for precision control of angular position using several different bearing and actuator technologies.  Dovers rotary tables can be mounted to Dovers standard precision linear products.

Dovers motorized rotary tables come with many different features, including a motor, a rear shaft-mounted knob for fine manual control, a flexible coupling, a built-in Hall-effect limit switch, and locking motor and limit/encoder connectors.

Dovers direct drive rotary tables (DRT series) are ideal for applications which require high throughput and high accuracy.

High Precision

 
Dover's DRT-100 rotary motion stage is a compact, direct-drive, high precision rotary table featuring a 100 mm diameter platen. Its 25mm through-bore allows convenient routing of optical beam paths or electrical / pneumatic lines.  The direct-drive motor results in reliable rotary stage operation with no gear wear, torque variation, or backlash.
